Veterinary Receptionist (min. 3 year experience)
Overview
We are seeking a highly organized and personable Veterinary Receptionist with a minimum of three years of experience to join our dynamic veterinary team. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, a strong understanding of veterinary terminology, and a passion for animal care. This role is vital in ensuring smooth clinic operations, delivering exceptional client service, and supporting the health and well-being of our animal patients. The successful applicant will thrive in a fast-paced environment, demonstrating professionalism, attention to detail, and a genuine love for animals.
Responsibilities
- Greet clients warmly and manage appointment scheduling efficiently to optimize daily clinic flow.
- Handle medical billing and collections accurately, ensuring timely processing of payments.
- Maintain detailed and organized patient records using veterinary management software.
- Assist with client education regarding pet care, treatment plans, and follow-up procedures.
- Coordinate laboratory sample collection and processing, ensuring proper documentation and handling.
- Support kennel operations by overseeing animal intake, discharge, and basic animal husbandry tasks.
- Facilitate communication between clients and veterinary staff regarding treatment updates or questions.
- Manage appointments, pet care instructions, and ensure animals are handled safely during check-in and check-out processes.
Requirements
- Minimum of three years’ experience as a veterinary receptionist or in a similar animal healthcare administrative role.
- Proficiency in veterinary terminology, and medical record keeping.
- Strong knowledge of animal handling techniques including dog handling, restraint, and basic animal husbandry.
- Experience with pet care advice, and kennel management is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with aseptic techniques, and veterinary critical care practices.
- Excellent communication skills with clients and team members; ability to explain complex medical information clearly.

Veterinary Technician

Qualifications
- At least 1-year of hands-on experience previously working as a Veterinary Technician
- The desire & ability to perform a multitude of veterinary technician tasks including blood draws, catheter placement, obtaining urine/stool samples, dental cleanings & x rays, administer medications, vaccinations, and treatments as prescribed, monitor anesthesia and vital signs during surgical procedures, surgical preparation and assistance, and MORE!
- A learning mindset as it is never too late to learn new skills or to improve the ones you already have
- Attention to detail and a high degree of organization
- A positive, friendly demeanor is a MUST!
Hours & Availability
This is a full time opening! Your availability should align with our hours of operation as follows:
- Monday – Friday: 8:00am – 5:00pm
- We are only open ONE Saturday per month!
Compensation & Benefits
Our amazing team members can expect competitive pay! The starting range for this position is $22 – $25 per hour, dependent upon education and/or experience.
